The frame of the Myco Heavy Duty Adjustable Width Swivel Bather is made from Stainless Steel for additional strength and is weight rated to 160kg.
The Myco Heavy Duty Swivel Bather is a turning bath seat that allows easy transfer over the bath. The user sits on the seat from the side of the bath and then swivels over the bath for a wash or shower. The comfortable seat provides back and arm support and is ideal for people who feel insecure on a bath board.
The Myco Heavy Duty Swivel Bather rests on any standard bath. No fixtures or fittings are required and it is easily removed so that others can use the bath.
The Myco Heavy Duty Swivel Bather has two parts; a base frame that rests on the bath and a seat unit that rotates on the base. The two parts separate easily for handling and storage. Each part weighs 3.2kg. The unit is adjustable in width from 26″ to 30″, so that it fits a range of domestic baths.
The seating unit has a plastic seat which is easy to clean and drainage holes sized for safety. The base frame has plastic ends and positioning screws to prevent movement.
The locking lever is located on the right hand side of the seat unit and locks in both the transfer and bathing positions. Seats with a left hand locking lever can be manufactured to order.
Critical turning components (the base plate and swivel pin) are stainless steel on all models, which ensures long-term reliability without the need for servicing or lubrication.

Step 2 – Fitting the base frame over the bath
Rest the base frame securely on the bath. At least 1¼ inch (30mm) of each arm must rest on the sides of the bath. Turn the positioning screws on both sides until the black rubber ends are just touching the sides of the bath.
Step 3 – Fitting the seat
Place the seat on the base frame. The socket under the seat locates over the swivel pin of the base frame. Ensure that the seat rotates freely. Lock the seat by pushing the black knob on the locking lever gently down until the lock locates in the slots in the base frame.
